Voices Project
March 12, 2007 on 5:43 am | In News, Random, Tech Stuff | No CommentsSeveral weeks I spoke to a few people about a mosaic project that I wanted to do for fun.
Well, i finally got down to making a super basic skeleton of it.
It has tons of improvements that will be required but at least there’s something…
for now…I’m hoping that if you read my blog, you could send me a photo of yourself that’s in a dimension ratio of 1:1 to ridzuan.ashim@xsmatter.com and also include your blog address. From there, i’ll add your photo to the page…And ermm, help me tell your friends?
I’ll have more updates as time goes by…
It is a new week ahead…
March 12, 2007 on 4:14 am | In Reflections | No CommentsOk…it’s a bittersweet beginning to this week…
He’s going for sentencing early on this week. It’s a very mixed emotion I have because the past 2 months have been the best months I have spent with him since years ago. I truly think he’s trying his best to change and the disconnect from his old friends have proven to be very effective in making sure he’s focused on changing his old habits. But the past is the past and now the repercussions of that past he will have to face. My fear is that he will not get probation and instead be sent for remand…I’m afraid that sending him to a place where young and stupid juveniles whose lives run on that adrenaline rush of being macho will result in him reverting to his old ways. We’ll have to see I guess.
Apart from that…this coming week is going to be a critical week for me to catch on lost time - to get myself up to speed with my schoolwork. There’s so many things happening that I’m afraid that if I don’t catch up, i’ll be left with no choice but to sacrifice a module or two which is something I horribly do not want to do. A gut feeling tells me I can do this. Now to translate that feeling to action…and then to translate action into result.
Life is getting tougher. But then again, I should already know that.
